For years, I have lived with fear, grief, and unanswered questions surrounding my daughter,
I believe my family has experienced ongoing harassment, surveillance, intimidation, and civil rights violations across multiple states.

only deepened my distrust in systems that were supposed to protect grieving families.
My daughter Dominique was last heard from directly by me, her mother, on March 9, 2026.
During that call, she was upset and claimed that male police officers in Henderson, Nevada, had touched her inappropriately during an arrest.
She reportedly requested female officers and said that request was denied.
Arrested again for resisting arrest
The family later learned Dominique had been jailed in Henderson Detention Center, Nevada. Judge Burr Henderson Nevada court sentence her to 45 days.
She was expected to be released in April 2026, but after that date, our family says we never heard her voice again.
Authorities allegedly informed us that she had been located, yet refused to provide her whereabouts or allow meaningful contact. As a mother, that uncertainty has been devastating.

Our concerns did not begin in Nevada. Years earlier, after moving to Muncie, Indiana,
my daughters Dominique lax and experienced repeated encounters with police officers.
According to our family, many of these incidents occurred on weekends and involved arrests, forced drugged up with psychotic medicine,
malicious hospitalizations, or after sexual assault to Dominique taken by officers for psychiatric evaluations.
But who cares right? They are only black ngger women.

One especially painful memory involved Dominique returning home unable to speak and visibly distressed. I feared she had been sexually assaulted.
Like shocked from what happened to her. Holding her private parts couldn't speak.

Is this why they need the public to keep viewing all the people in this family as trouble makers?
When I went to the police station seeking help, I felt dismissed and unheard. Was told by front desk officer.
I was told Dominique would need to report the incident herself despite her emotional condition at the time.
Dominique would come home as if memory loss drugs was given to her I guess make sure she doesn't remember officers badge number and faces.
As date rape drugs. Made her memories foggy.
Young cops would arrest her in Muncie Indiana out of her own house. They would bring her back home late. Dominique became afraid of cops.

For years since she moved to Muncie Indiana from Florida 2018 because of the mandate hurricane evacuation.

As the years continued, Dominique was repeatedly taken to hospitals for psychiatric evaluations.
Over time, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Doctors explained that severe trauma and repeated back to back stressful events can worsen mental health conditions.
Our family believes Dominique’s mental health struggles were intensified by years of fear, instability, arrests, and traumatic encounters.
Public records later revealed misconduct within the Muncie Police Department. Former officer chase wrinkle pleaded guilty in federal court in 2022
to civil rights and obstruction offenses related to assaults on arrestees and false reports.
His father, former police chief , had also been connected publicly to concerns regarding departmental culture and accountability.
One of the same Muncie Indiana officers kept harassing Dominique Sandra Marie Lax after the family bought a house in Muncie Indiana.
Unaware that Muncie Indiana was one of the KKK chapter towns.
We had no ideal these police officers were family and friends the went to school with.
The general public doesn't know this information.
We wonder why our reports not taken serious. Family law enforcement covering for one another
The city seemed quite better away from California expensive way of living.

These developments mattered deeply to my family because for years we tried to report what we believed were patterns of abuse and harassment.
Yet many people dismissed us.
I filed federal civil rights lawsuits in Indiana regarding what I believed were constitutional violations, harassment, illegal surveillance, and failures to investigate complaints.
One case, Lax v. City of Muncie, was dismissed after the court ruled the complaint lacked sufficient detail under federal pleading standards.
Even though the case did not move forward, the dismissal did not erase the experiences and fears my family endured.
Lazy people refused to believe and investigate. Refused to help Dominique Sandra Marie Lax
Another federal case involving Dominique and myself named multiple defendants connected to law enforcement and medical institutions.
We sought answers, accountability, and protection for our family.
The LAX women been fighting this battle alone for years.
Our lives stolen, buried over cover up false reports, lies about our character our names to keep dirty cops and all involved looking squeaky clean good people.

Today, I continue speaking publicly because I believe many Black women and families feel powerless when reporting misconduct, abuse, or mistreatment.
Whether people agree with every detail of our story or not, the pain, grief, fear, and trauma experienced by my family are real.
This blog is not written out of hatred. It is written from the perspective of a grieving Black mother searching for answers about her missing daughter
while mourning the death of her son. I believe families deserve transparency, dignity, and equal protection under the law.
My daughter, Dominique Sandra Marie Lax, born May 24, 1989, is still deeply loved by her family.
We continue asking questions about her welfare and hoping for direct communication from her.
Until we hear from Dominique ourselves, our family will continue seeking answers.
People often ask why I keep speaking out. My answer is simple: silence has never protected my family.
If these systems failed my children, how many other families have experienced the same fear, confusion, and hopelessness without anyone listening?
